The 2011 SEW-Eurodrive Victoria Cup Carnival gets underway on Saturday night December 10 with an eight-race card at Cranbourne highlighted by the Decron Cranbourne Pacing Cup
Run as a Group 1 race for the first time in 2010, the Cranbourne Cup is part of the Choice Hotels Country Cups circuit and boasts an impressive list of former winners including last year’s triumphant horse Im Themightyquinn.
The winner will qualify for the lucrative SEW-Victoria Cup the following week and have an opportunity to join a long and celebrated honour roll.
The Group 1 Aldebaran Park Bill Collins Trotters mile will also be staged on the night as part of the Trotters Grand Circuit and feature some of Australasia’s finest squaregaiters.
