Mega-popular pacer Two Eye See will be looking for his first success as a three-year-old in the MHRC Victoria Sires Classic at Tabcorp Park on Friday night

With a facebook page in his honour, a triple-barrel moniker that follows him everywhere he goes and a fan club that stretches nationwide, it's easy to forget that Two Eye See is a horse and not a touring rock star.

The unfortunate victim of a paddock accident soon after birth, Two Eye See or the 'One-Eyed-Wonder' to his friends - facebook and otherwise - heads back to Victoria for the second time in his short career for this Friday night's $40,000 Group 3 MHRC Victoria Sires Classic at Tabcorp Park.
"There's a lot of interest generated by him, there's no doubt about that," Two Eye See's laconic trainer Mark Hewitt agreed.
"And as a Vicbred horse, we're going to be coming this way a bit so if people down here are interested in him that's good."
Another conspicuous positive to being a Vicbred three-year-old, eligible for races like the Sires Classic, is that Hewitt and his son of Armbro Operative get their first chance this preparation to avoid budding champion For A Reason.
"We don't want to see him (For A Reason) again, I can tell you that," was the half-joking declaration from Hewitt regarding For A Reason, who has beaten Two Eye See at their two meetings this season.
"He's just been a bit too good for us at this stage."
What Two Eye See will face on Friday night is a quality field of three-year-old's including former star juveniles Bells And Whistles and Palais Du Louvre for a spot on the honour roll that includes recent racetrack stars Lombo Pocket Watch and Bonavista Bay.
For Hewitt, Friday night will determine the immediate plans for his rock star pacer and help to solidify his belief that Two Eye See has returned as a genuine force for his three-year-old season.
"He's really getting towards his peak now," Hewitt said. "I wasn't very impressed with him first-up, but he was good at Menangle and he's better now - a good performance this week will give us confidence to head towards the Derbys."
The MHRC Victoria Sires Classic is race five on a cracker 10-race program and will be run at 8.10pm.
